About the event

Henrik Clausen, Director of Fagerhult’s Lighting Academy in Copenhagen will be presenting a talk on how lighting affects many aspects of our lives from the psychology of lighting to our emotional well- being.

Significant reductions are being made in energy use in lighting schemes. However, it’s not simply a case of making the switch; visual comfort, light quality and how people feel all have to be considered. Henrik will explore the theory, research and application behind how you can have the best of both worlds, energy efficiency within a space which helps people feel good and perform better.

It will be of interest to many, including Lighting Designers, Architects, Engineers, Psychologists and in fact anyone who is interested in the built environment and how lighting can effect behaviour and improve performance.
